In May of 2011, I served as one of 5 judges for the BioCommunications Association's BioImages competition. Several of my current and former students won awards and not because of me. My first post and objective for this blog

I am not sure what was the inspiration to start a blog today June 26th, but I did. My ideas for this blog will be to share things that seem interesting and things I want share exploring all aspects of the Science Image, its creators and other relevant topics including techniques. I am interested to see how a blog might work as a tool in my teaching and how to better use social computing for my professional work and science photography. Thanks for reading and I look forward to the opportunity.
